Welcome to my portfolio. Here you will find an assortment of projects that I have worked on throughout my academic career at The Los Angeles Film School (LAFS). I have also included some of my original compositions, that include compositions for film, TV, and personalized client projects.
This is an original composition I created in Ableton Live for my Electronic Music Performance class at LAFS in 2022. I had to create drums in the style of trance, dubstep, and breakbeat. I had to design, incorporate, and modulate a wobble bass. I recorded a match strike and looped it to add to the special effects. I recorded and comped vocals and reversed some of them for an eerie vibe.
This is an original composition I created in Logic Pro during my Advanced Production and Industry Skills class at LAFS in 2021 that I revamped in 2023 for my Music Production Portfolio class. This would be fitting as an underscore during a film or for the end credits. Emotional, mellow, yet cinematic.
An absolute blast of a project for a client. They had a video of their son at a young age that they wanted to somehow incorporate into a birthday tune for him when he turned 21. This was created for them via Logic Pro.
This is an original composition I created in Logic Pro for my Commercial Music Production class at LAFS in 2022. The video and script were supplied, the music and dialogue were created via orchestral instruments and incorporating distinct sections for the Italian restaurant, Hibachi grill, and the live music venue sections.
This is an original composition I created in Logic Pro X for my final class Music Portfolio II at LAFS in 2023. This was a monthlong project that headed many different directions initially. Sound effects, synths, reverse, tempo change, arpeggiators, drum sequencing, and modulation are just a few of the items I used.
